Meta has confirmed that Facebook’s link history option will soon be available to all users on both Android and iOS. According to Meta, the Facebook mobile browser will retain your link history for 30 days.
If you have visited or interacted with external links via the Facebook app, the Facebook mobile browser will display the last page you visited. However, it’s important to note that the link history option will not be functional in Messenger.

Based on the screenshot provided, Facebook will save your link history, allowing you to easily check your visited links in the “Recent Activities” section. On the other hand, this feature also provides meaningful advantages for Facebook. By tracking your link history, Facebook can show relevant ads based on your interests.
It’s worth mentioning that this link history feature is not mandatory, and you can clear your link history if you prefer not to store it via Facebook. The Facebook link history option is now being rolled out to all regions, and you can expect to see this feature soon.
